How it works

Registration transfer step by step

See the real transfer flow. Choose whether you are buying or selling.

When a dispute is opened

A dispute first acts as protection: if the transfer is not completed within 72 hours, for example because you are waiting for the organizer by email, open it before the deadline. This prevents automatic completion and keeps the payout on hold.

⏳ Protective dispute – transfer still in progress

Use it even when nobody has done anything wrong and you are simply waiting for the organizer. Keep the chat updated with what has been done and what is still pending. Once the registration is transferred, the transfer can be confirmed and the order completed.

Only if the transfer cannot be completed or there is a real disagreement
📎 The burden of proof regarding the existence, correctness and transferability of the registration lies primarily with the seller. The buyer must cooperate and substantiate facts on their side.

💬 Use the dispute chat to explain exactly what happened, what has already been done and what is still missing. Attach organizer emails, confirmations, screenshots, links, codes or other relevant evidence.

✓ Seller wins

If the evidence confirms that the registration was properly transferred or the seller fulfilled their obligations, the transaction is completed and the payout is released to the seller.

↩ Buyer wins

If the registration cannot be transferred for a reason attributable to the seller, the amount processed through RunResell is refunded to the buyer including the service fee.

⇄ Partial settlement

For example, if the organizer fee is higher than the seller disclosed, an administrator may refund part to the buyer and reduce the seller payout by the same difference. RunResell cannot refund money paid directly to the organizer.

🔒 The payout remains on hold while the dispute is being reviewed.
